Is the independence debate all about the SNP?
The independence debate is all about you – the people of Scotland, and your future.
While the SNP has stood for independence since its creation, people of all parties and none support independence. A large proportion of people who have voted Labour support independence.
Equally, the voices of those who have concerns about independence need to be listened to, and the purpose of the debate is to exchange ideas and encourage people to think about the future they want Scotland to have.
The SNP will always campaign for independence the Scottish people to determine all the decisions that affect them, and when that aim is achieved it will be for the people of our independent Scotland to elect their members to our Parliament.
