By population Scotland is bigger than many neighbouring countries who are richer per person than the UK, and also with far less poverty and inequality. We also have the infrastructure and national resources that would help us to thrive as an independent country.

There is no evidence Scotland would be blocked from returning to the EU, with major figures speaking in support of Scotland rejoining as an independent country.
